Cactus - Judges Award

Entered the Traditional Artist Guild of Paramount again this year.  Cactus (above) received the Judges Award for Outstanding Oil.   Ripples (below) received Second Place in Floral, Oil.

Ripples took Second Place, Floral in Oils.

This little flower was growing outside my bedroom window in the neighbors yard. Our neighbor has had their house under construction for 3 years now. No one there. This poor flower has grown despite the neglect. It was the one and only flower in the yard. The weeds are doing fine!

School Path

This was my first attempt at paint on location. I ended up using a lot of "artistic license". It doesn't look anythink like the location. Still not sure if I like this one or not.

I love this painting because it shows the loss of her front teeth. When asked if she would like to have all of her teeth painted in place, her answer was, "No.
That is how I am."
