Hello Elaine,
I was just browsing through Blogs and was amazed by your delicacy. You have graceful ability and line structure. You landscape is breath taking how you capture light almost like a photograph like with your clementine. If we weren't on east and westcoasts I'd beg to paint next to you for a day to learn. :) lol I'm a painter myself however, I left my eisel and paints in the trunk last winter here for a few days too long and it all froze so I have to start from scratch with supplies. It's now fall again and I haven't had time to paint with my job but I love it all anyway. What is your favorite medium? Do you find working with oils to be easier when blending or shading? What brand of brushes is your favorite especially for fine lines on still life? I've used a lot of charcoal and black and white images, cheap brushes I can afford but that isn't a matter anymore. All around drawing, painting, sculpting etc. I write more than anything, especially on here like it's my diary so don't mind my blogs of rants and raves and self epiphanies about life. haha I don't have any of my art posted. It's been a long time.
But I just wanted to tell you how wonderful you're art is as I'm sure you might know. It's a well developed gift. :) Thanks for the inspiration.

Hello xxsuperwomanxx,
Thank you for all the nice things you said. It is great to get feedback for people you don't know. I love working in oils. It is a very forgiving medium. Right now I am copying a painting of Ridgeway Knight's. I find that you can learn from copying, then applying that knowledge to your own style. I would love to see some of your works. Here in Southern California, we don't have to worry about our paint feezing(which I am grateful) It is hard sometimes to find the time to paint. I hope you get back to it.

Thank you. I have been fiddling with colorign lately. Using shading techniques on average mandala. Trying to place the sun so I can get use to shadow on all kinds of shapes. So far each one I learn more and it's really relazing! haha It's my pleasure. I really admire your work. Of course practice makes perfect however, some people like you are born with a gift to capture a realm in a picture, not just an object, but a tangible place. That's magical. haha Hope all is well.. Thanks again for the little muse. If I make any work I'll try to post it and I'll let you know or if I can dig out some old stuff.
PS. My name is Heidi.. Of course superwoman works. :)

Hi Heidi,
Looking forward to seeing your work. I don't check my blog often, so replies may be far between.
