Entered the Traditional Artist Guild of Paramount again this year. Cactus (above) received the Judges Award for Outstanding Oil. Ripples (below) received Second Place in Floral, Oil.
Back in the 70's I started painting in oils and painted for about 5-6 years. I took time off to raise children, and try my hand at different businesses. In 2001, I got back into painting, which I missed. In the begining, my first paintings were copies, especially of the Masters. Now most of my paintings are originals, others, reproductions.
